Saturday. Erneit proved to be in

to The Dalles by Mrs. Roy Ward,
mother of the groom, and Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Crabtree, parents of the
bride, for bt wedding. Both the
contracting parties are to bescniors
this fall term of echool. The time
honored rivalry of neighboring
schools did not seem to dim the
courtship and marriage of Ernest and
Avis.

one of two tin cans filled with corn
well soaked in water may be nailed

corn helps to satisfy the birds'
thirst, and the corn helps to cut
down thrinkage in weight but docs
not make the crops too full.

Rabbits need mineral salt in
some form, preferably in spool, that
can be fastened to the side of th
hutch. Salt spools can be bought
at a rabbit of poultry supply house.
The instincts In a horse that are
opposed to obedience to man in
create in strength with age, bo it
is very desirable to begin the educa
tion of the colt as early as possible.
A good plans is to break coltfe to
lead before they are weaned, and
to harness them between the ges
of 2 and 3 years. Accustom colts
to work gradually and do not use
them at heavy work until they are
practically mature.
Many markets made a deduction
In weight or in price for live poultry
that is "overcropped." It is pfclvis
able not to put any feed in the
coops when shipping poultry to mwr-
ket. It the birds will not arrive ,atjBtton
the market for 24 hours or woty, '
Mr. C. F. Redlich, the successful
expert says:
The "Perfect Retention Shield"
holds the rupture perfectly, no matter
what position the body aa umes or
how heavy a weight you lift. They
give instant relief, contract the open
ine in a remarkably short time and
strengthen the weak tissue (the real
cause of rupture) so that they fre
quently reeoves from their previous
natural retaining power, needing no
further outside support. Stomach
trouble, backache and constipation
often caused by Rupture promptly
disappear.
Truly remarl abh; and prompt re
sults have been obtained not only
with recent and not fully developed
ruptures, but also with old, long ne
glected -ones.
Ingenious, recently perfected de
vices are now holding ruptures firmly
which heretofore never had been re
tained. No elastic belts nor filthy legstrap
are used.
I guarantee the durability of my
absolutely sweat and moisture proof,
sanitary appliances.
75 of ruptured children recover
completely through expert mechani
cal treatment according to statistics.
Do not waste your money on wide
ly advertised mail order contrap
tions. You cohnot fit yourself. t
