Lloyd, aviator from Portand, will make flights each day of the fair. He will perform all the stunts possible with an aeroplane and will also carry .passengers in snort fligt's. He drives the same make of machine that Lindburgh usesd in his recent flight to Paris, and is one of the best known aviators in the country. His performances are freehand worth seeing. PICTURE SHOWS EACH EVENING There will be a change of pictures in the grand stand each evening and well known, plays will be shown. He was suffering with blood poisoning in ona of his arms. . A water spout fell on Tygh grade Sunday, causing a number of cars to be held up at Tygh Valley. Ray Tunison recently killed 6ix rattle snakf-i in and around the house at White River. Three cf the rattlers were killed in one day. Visited Cot Resort. , While away last week Dr. Stovall, wife and son, made a trip from Cor vallis to Newport. The doctor says that the road from the college town to the coast is in fine shape and that the trip was made in comfort. Mrs. Emma McFarlane, Mrs. Stovall's mother, accompanied the Maupin people to this city and will remain at the hon e of her daughter until after the Fourth of July.
