Fridsy night W. D. Rot?rt was
attacked by what appeared to be a
rabid coyote near his camp. It was
held ff by a bombardment of stones
by neighbors until Mr. Roberts pro
cured gun and killed it. Its head
was sent to Portland for examina
tion for rabies.
Dr. Francis, who recently left this
place, for Bend, is announced by the
Bend press as being permanently
located with Myron H. Symons,
jeweler, in that city.
