Staats entertained two of her sons, Roy and Grover C. Slusher, with their wives, over Saturday night. The visit ors live at Dufur and came over to attend the dance at Legion hall. He came home for Sunday and returned to court duty Wednesday. Frank Turner who has been confined to his bed for two weeks, has so for recovered from his at tack of lumbago as to be able to sit up a few hours each day. F. d. Stuart and Ralph Kaiser each took a load of Rebekahs to the district convention at Hood River this week, the convention having been held yesterday.
