Woodcock and family are enjoying the holidays at the home of Mrs. Woodcock's sister at Hood River. They visited Port land while away. George Richardson, brother of Clarke Richardson of this city, spent Christmas with his broth er and family, coming from Prineville. Harvey Martin, brother of Mrs. John Confer, arrived from Grand View, Washington, Monday and will visit a few dajs with the family of his sister. Mrs. Gu3 Derthick and daugh ter, Fannie, went to Tygh Sat urday and will visit this week with Mrs. Derthlck's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C- L. Lofton. W. E. Hunt and wife and D- L Rutherford and wife were among those from Criterion who attended the exercises and tree at Maupin on Christmas eve. Art Gutzer, wife and the lat- ter's sister, Miss Gladys Smith, who is home for the holidays from school at Portland, were shoppers in Maupin on Thursday last.
