Obituary Roy Walter Shively, the eldest child of John and Nettie Shively was born near Weston, Umatilla county, Oregon, June 14, lauo; departed this life at Wamic, Ore gon, January 23, 1924, having reached the age of 18 vears, 7 months and 9-days. He lived in Marion county until 8 years old. His parents then moved to Griz- zley, Jefferson county, where they , lived for 4 years. Since 1919 the family have made their home in Wamic. Last year he attened Tygh Valley high school and was in Shaniko high school the first part of this school year. Recently he had been employed in the logging camp near his old home in Jefferson county. While at home for a visit he was taken sick January 13th; after ten days this illness proved fatal. Besides his parents he is sur vived by two brothers andthrree sisters: Thomas age 16, Mabel 15 Laura 13, Everett 8, and El vena 6. He was a young man of excellent moral and temperase habits and hiarhlv esteemed by all who knew him Funeral services were held at Wamic cemetery Thursday after noon, Rev. J. I. Parker, officiat ing.
