Brown from Dufur, looked after the water ditch interests last week. H. F. and Cecil Woodcock at' tended the sale here Saturday from Maupin. Among those here at the sale al rites which was held at eleven o'clock; She was an early pion eer of this place coming here when a very -small child with her parents, Mr; and Mrs. David Wilson. She spent her early youth and the later days of her life here and her sunny disposi tion generous nature won lasting friendship for her whose sorrow was deeply felt at her sudden Saturday from Tvgh Valley were passing away. Dell Packard had the misfor tune to have a rib broken by being struck by a flying rock from workman near Clakamas lake. Mrs. Dake went to Tygh Val ley Saturday to meet the Dr. tfoing on to Maupin.
