Admission 25 and 50 The program of the Literary Society held last Friday night was enjoyed by all. The songs by the Glee Club, Quintet, and Sextet, were well received by the audience. The instrumental solos, piano and mandolin, each received encores. We are indebt ed to Mrs. H. F. Bothwell for the success of the above because of the careful training and long patience. Readings, talks, and a theme were well rendered. The Literary Gleaner was read last and seemed to be enjoyed. The paper contained class reports news notes, sports, editorials, and jokes. After the program the baskets were sold. The pro ceeds of the baskets and a few donations amounted to JJS6.E0. A motion was made and earn ed by the high school student bouy that a vote of thanks be ex tended to the following, for so kindly helping with the Basket Social inven for the benefit of the Mi ;pin High School Student Body: To F. C. Butler for auc tioning eff the baskets; to F. D. Stuart fur acting as clerk; to Harphams and the Odd Fellows for the use of their cups and other utensils; to Mrs. Kaiser and Mrs. Cyr who made the coffee; to those who donated sums of money to the cause; to the ladies w ho brought the beautifully decoiated and bounti fully filled baskets ; to the gentle men who so genemusly bid on the baskets; and to the public who attended and lister cd atten tively to the program.
