E, Woodcock and daughter Carmel and Mrs. Mary Pratt were Dalles visitors Wednesday, Mrs. Woodcock going for medical treatment. Housty Johnson and Glen Lucas ware in TV Dalles Wed nesday, guest at the Guy Stodgs dill home. Mr. and Mrs. Al Gillis. Fred Mayo and Mrs. Swable were Dal lea visitors last week, Mrs. Swa ble going on to Portland. The many friends here of Mrs. Bessie Gourley were saddened by the news of her death last week which occured in Portland. She was well and favorably known' here. The remains were brought to The Dalles for burial being laid to rest on her 81st birthday anniversary. Mit Wing and Willie Willard took Mrs. Josie and Miss Hilda Lake to The Dalles Thursday when they went to Portland and will go to Dryad Wash, to visit Mrs. Francis Ward and family. Bill Woodcock, Jim Woodcock and Al Lake went to The Dalles Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Driver and Mr. and Mrs.' H. A. Muller were in The Dalles Friday in be half of the coming Fourth of July to be celebrated at Tygh. Frank Burden and Lewis Gil son of Tygh, took a load of house hold goods from near Maupin for A. Star who moved to The Dalles Thursday. Mrs. Frank Burdens mother and her sister Mrs. Hauser and baby were her guests last week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dahl were Dalles visitors Friday from Tygh Percy Driver and Guy Brittain worked the roads in Shearers canyon last week. Mart New has moved to the Morgentsen place from Tygh. Henry Miller brought the Milt Morris house in Tygh. Word reached this place re in the Circuit Court of the State of Oicgon for Wasco County. John T.
