The primary pupils will have their monthly tests Friday. This is examination week in the grammar grade room. The results of the examination will he ready for publication nex week.' The sewing and cooking; clubs have each had meetings this week. This was the cooking club's first meeting. The high school is getting along nicely. The students are taking great interest in their studies. Those starting a little late are getting along nicclv though having to work very hard. The morale of the school is good. Mr. Winn says that the Hol- senting him with fruits and other delicacies for which he wishes to express his thanks. The young people of the com munity celebrated Hollowe'en b laying many harmless pranks upon the people around town, which were received in the play ful spirit they were intended.
