The Mmipin ball team won a
decisive victory over the Dufur
nine last Sunday. The boys from
the north end of the county were
out-classed from tbe first inning,
and although tbey fought bard
from start to floisb, tbe maroon
and wbite boya showed too much
speed. Tbe final score was Jl to
in favor of the Maupin tram.
A large delegation went f oin
Maupin and surrounding coun'iy.
Everybody reports having a tod
time. The schedule of game for
the future is: Sunday, April 18'h
