Miller, daughter of David H. Miller was born in the state of Indiana February 5th, 1858. She came with her purents across the plains by ox team in 1865 at the age of 12 years, to Portland, Oregon, finally settling on a farm near Albany in Linn county. After a few years the family moved to Multnomah coun ty and Bellied nenr Gresbam at which place she Was married in 1871 to James R. Woodcock.
