A sad gloom was cast over the entire neighborhood last Wednes day when the news came over the phone that Mrs. Arthur Hender son had passed away following the death of their infant which died a few hours after birth. Mrs. Henderson was stricken with in fluenza and her frail, body could uot stand ihe strain it had to un dergo in this dreadful disease. She was laid to rest beside her infant daughter in the Duuh cemetery. Mr. Her.derson has the sympathy of the entire community. Mr. and Mrs. Brown who were visiting at Arthur Henderson's at the time of Mrs. Henderson's death were both confined to their beds with influenza. Mr. Brown is Btill very ill with pneumonia. Miss Phronie Kramer is sick this week. Mrs. Cora Baxter has been con fined to her bed the past week with iufluenza but her condition is not serious. The men of this neighborhood donated the day last Saturday to Mr. Henderson in digging his po tato crop.
