No memorial services were held here on Decoration day, though many persons visited the cemeter ies, placing beautiful boquets of Howers on the graves of loved ones who are silently sleeping. Mrs. Hattie Johnson and little son Harold, who spent two weeks with relatives here, left Wednes day for Toppenish, Wn. Miss Nellie. Hunt left Monday for her home at Mountain View on the Deschutes riyer. Mrs. Nancy Sanford was very ill a few days but is much improved now. Mrs. Annie Gilmore arriyed Friday from Cresswell. The Southern Wasco county Fair association held its annual meeting at the Odd Fellows' .hall in Tygh Saturday afternoon, elec ting officers and transacting othei business. A'. A.
