A midnight dancer was given in the hall Saturday night by the Red Cross workers. Sargent Percy Thompson of Fort Sam Huston and his sister, Miss Pearl attended the dance from Tygh. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Harvey vis- it.ml at the Bruce Driver home Friday night. Mr. Driyer ac companied them home, R. B. Driver, Miss Fay Driver and Lewie" Woodnide of Juniper visited at the 1). A. Harvey heme Sunday. She went to Portland. Wilbur Wing, accompanied by Mrs, Emma Wing and Mrs. Alice Kumwalt went to The Dalles Sat urday. A number of persons from here attended the funeral of Van Wood ruff at Tygh Friday. Mr. Wood- mff had many friends here who . ;.e saddened by his death. Andy Bailes, Mrs. Mary Beaty, Kennedy and Miss Maggie Creasy went to The Dalles Satur day, the latter going on to Port land.
