Grass Valley will play here next Sunday the 27th. The Maupins will go Kent June 3rd. A game will he played with Priueville some lime in June, The annual race meet started in Manpin yesterday. There are horses here from all the neighbor ing counties nnd the town has the appearance of being the metropolis of Ivisiern Oregon. We hope next week to be able to tell you of one of the grandest meeis that lias been staged in this part of the state for years, K. .
