Those Tin Cans Some of our local citizens have been telling ye scribe how we oupht to get busy and write some editorals or something for otir sub scribers to read, and suggest that the tiu cans in the rear of the Times uilding and some of the other business houses aud residences of this city, would be a good subject to begin on. While we are person ally adverse to picking up tiu cans until there is a change in the weather and a change under foot It is said that our little burg would look much more inviting to visitors as well as local people, if the tin cans, garhage, a few rocks and other unnecessary ornaments decc rating our back yards and alleys, were distributed in better order by themselves in the Deschutes river or some place of less iucouvenience to the fishes, but please don't throw them at us, as we may show our selves capable of sending a tin can as far as anyone even If we are a Benjaminite, and not very good at copying the literary get up of the Monday Crawfish in theOregoniau Winter gave us a farewell re minder Friday night with another snowfall continuing until evening of the next day when a brisk breeze followed by a rain Sunday soon melted the snow and left the ground bare again.
