rhubarb and three medium sized
oranges. Grind oranges and add to
rhubarb which hag been cut up
finely. Cook until reduced one
half. Add equal weights of sugar
and boll five minutes.

She was accompanied by her ten-year-old

parents In the past, but will stay '
at the Wlllowbrook farm from now
on with his mother and stepfather.
C. A. Bester, who Is operating a
logging camp at Mapleion. came
home to spend Sunday at the home
ranch.
L. N. Austin drove to Eugene last
week on business connected with
the roadwork. Mr. Austin Is road
patrolman of district No. 69,
U. P. Flsk of the Wlllowbrook
farm, and Burt Wllklns, who also
owns a large farm on Maple
creek, have each had new milking
machines Installed this week. The
machines cost from $455 to $40
according to the atyle, but Mr.
Wilkinson and Mr. Flsk both say
they are well worth the money as
time-savers. Mr. Wilkinson says It
takes an hour lo do the work with
the machines that it two houra and
a half to do by hand.
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Baker were
shaking hands with old friends at
Canary Sunday. Mr. Baker was
on his way to Ada Grange, where
he spoke on the Income tax ques
tion. About 40 young folks from Can
ary, Ada snd Berrydale spent Sun
day afternoon al Whoahink lake,
swimming.
Mrs. Jessie Stevenson of Kroll Is
spending a few days at the old
home ranch at Canary.
Francis Austin, who works for
the S. P. company, went to North
Bend Sunday lo spend the day with
his cousin, Lloyd stone.

Wallace, of Berrydale. have moved
to Eugene where Mr. Boyles tx

from him since they first received
the news of his cart being wrecked
and It Is feared that Uncle Peggy's
