tained with a tea and exhibition
of spring clothing probloma execut
ed by the glrla of the department,
which waa given yesterday after
noon as an Interesting and novel
event of Mothers' Day week-end.
The department membora and
faculty received In the household
arts building from two-thirty to
slve-thlrty o'clock, glrla of the food
department being In charge of the
tea. On the committee were Mlaaea
Sadie Cos, Esther Chase, and Helen
Louise Smith.
Mra. Andrew Fish's daaa had re
decorated Miss Lillian Tingle's of
fice for the occasion, with attrac
tive and colorful new draporles,
cushions and other appointments.

were on the entertainment com
mittee and Mra. 8. 8. Northrup
had charge of refreshments.
The Christian Woman's alliance
will be entertained by Mrs. Martha
Key and her sister, Miss Olive E.
