now than it has ever been before
al thi lime of the year. In order
to accomodnto the increase the
library is being opened three times
a week r Instead . of twice. The
change, in opening days started on
October 1 and will continue : to
April 1. The days, are - Monday.
Wednesday and Saturday, instead
of the usual Wednesday and Sat
urday , ...
, An increase in readers is indi
cated' by the 100 new names ap
pearing on, the list kept by Miss
Roberts. These have been added
In the last three months. In the
last month, over 50 new readers
have been added to the lists. Some
days last : winter the ; librarian
loaned as high as 230 books a day.
A record has been kept this-year
but will be released , in the yearly
report of the city librarian which
will be out-by January 1. ;
