eration is belnp given to the
building of a highway connecting
Nevada and Oregon and to Ore
gon's participation in the Nevada
transcontinental highway exposi
tion, accord mK to letters received
by Mayor Roberts of this city,
from Governor Walter M. Pierce
of Oregon.
The proposed highway would
link Nevada with the Oregon Trail
from Denio on the Oresron-Nevada
line throucrh southeastern Oregon.
It is being planned by the Ore
gon highway commission.
Pierce also noted, he said, with
satisfaction the postponement of
the Nevada exposition until 1927
and stated that in all probability
ho would recommend Oregon'
