nesday the girfs' Glee club enter
tained with Chrintmus carols. Mrs.
Ady gave a very Interesting talk
on her work, saying that some of
her best help came from the
schools of Kugene. Tho picture,
Hoffman's "Christ At the Age of
Thirty," given hy Mr. Klklns,
whs presented by Miss flalversen.
The student body and faculty ap
preciate the gift of such a beauti
ful picture for our building. After
the general announcements, the
singing of the Star Spangled Ban
ner and flag salute the assembly
was dismissed.
The last assembly before the
Christmas vacation will be held
next Wednesday. Itov. Fred J.
Clark will bring us a Christmas
message. The Christmas tree and
donations will be . presented . to
Mrs. Ady Christmas music will be
furnished by the Glee club and
members of the student body.
Monday night December 21, the
students of tho Roosevelt Junior
high will present their Christmas

went to the oil well on their field
trip last Thursday. They gathered
rocks and soil specimens for class
