provement club guve a short talk
on the purpose of the club which
is an organisation for young peo
ple to give musical programs
each month. MIhs Florence
Khaub Is chairman of the member
ship committee and stated that
membership Is open to all.
A paper on the Messiah giving
some Interesting facts of. the life
of Handel was read by Mrs."vC. IL
Sedgwick. Mrs. Mat hew natig a
solo from the Messiah. Clifford
Travllllon played a piano nolo. Lu- -clle

ter. Miss Leona sang two Indian
melodies. .Mrs. H. V. Mathew and
Miss Florence Khaub played n duet
"Poet and Peasant" and responded
