The McMorran and Washburne Department Store in
adopting the Budget Buying Plan, which, in its essence,
is the Ten-Pay-Plan, is one among thousands of stores!
the country over that are adopting in principal the same
plan of deferred payments.
The Green-Kilborn Company takes this means of con
gratulating the McMorran and Washburne Store on its
latest progressive step. We welcome you and wish you
flourishing prosperity under your new system of credit.
Green-ECilborn Is First
to Establish This Plan
In an effort to be of greater usefulness to our patrons and
to all the men of Lane County, this store led the way in
Eugene in a new system of credit buying. Universally,
people were buying automobiles, phonographs, radios,
pianos and homes on easy payment plans, and we could
see no reason why a similar plan could not be adopted for
the purchase of men's clothing. So the Ten-Pay-Plan
was evolved and minutely investigated and was found to
be sound. Forth-with it has become a part of our credit
system.
Fashion Park Clothes
So well and favorably known are featured at cash prices
on the plan. Furnishings purchased in amounts as low
as $20 also have the privileges of the Tcn-Pay-Plan.
