terday, however, because of the
formation of the Bhale that was
revealed. Pure white when dry.

lahoma. Texas, Wyoming and
other fields.
The material when brought to
the surface is In a liquid form
from the constant pounding of
heavy steel and the mixture of
water. On the surface is a foam
that la claimed to be another posi
tive Indication. This foam will
thow peacock colors when distri
buted. The drillers average about six
feet through the white shale every
24 hours, cosing the hole as they
go.- The entire well is cased lor
2800 feet at present.

day to pay homage to departed
brethren.
As Is the usual custom, the cere
monial will be. open to the public
and there will be an address o'.

passed through "the veil of tears."
- The memorial service will begin
at '2:30 o'clock with a ritualistic
program conducted by the exalted
ruler and other officers of the
ldUge. Souvenir programs have
been prepared for the event and

died In the last year and 131 have
passed on since the order was (
