football player and " quarterback
for the varsity team this year, has
been chosen as basketball coach
for the University hlch school, it
was announced last niKht.
In tho recent interclasa tourna
ment played between class teams
of the University hiph school the
sophomore team won by larpe
scores. The majority of tho men
out for the team are sophomores
which will build for better teams
later on.
Anderson is a major In the de
partment of physical education of
the university and Is taking his
senior work this year. The aspir
ants for the team turn out every
evening at 7:30 in tho men's cym-
nnsium. The Orepon stylo of play
now inucnt tne varsitv team by
Coach Hilly Relnhdrt will be used
by the new university high school
mentor. The complete schedule
for the team has not been ar
ranged and will be announced
later.

tain baseball at the university as
an intercollegiate sport was passed
by a meeting of the Order of the
"O at which 30 members of the
group were present. It was the
first indignation meeting in many
years and came as a result of the
agitation on the campus atrainst
