Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah
K. Thompson, TS.and pioneer of
Oregon, who died at the Pacific
Christian hospital on the evening
nf November 30. will be held at the j
Hranstetter chapel at 11 o clock
this morning.
Mrs. Thompson, whose homo was
at Mi2 Twenty-third avenue east,
was a member of the Christian
church. Ir. E. V. Stivers, pastor
Of the Christian church, will preach
the funeral sermon.
Mrs. Thompson wao born in Ore
gon and lived In this state nractic
ally all of her life. She is survived
by a brother. John T. Pailey or
Mitchell; a sister, Mrs. Marv Ware
of Eugene; three nephews, Samuel,
Clay and Benjamin, all of Bend;
and three nieces, namely, Mrs.
Alice Weddle and Mrs. Eva Good
win of Portland, and Mrs. Ida
Jennings of Nebraska.
Interment will be in the Mulkey
cemetery.

reports reaching Eugene last night.

cently and entered them in the
