of the Springfield high school Thurs

O. K. When ton, representing the
Civic club of Springfield, which about
a month ago voted to present this
cup to tho school.
Voting for the best all-around hig'h
school girl will take place in June.
The winning girl is to have her name
engraved on the side of the cup.
The Christmas charity box of the
Girls' league is to be sent this year
to American lftke, along with the
contributions of the Springfield le
gion auxiliary. Gifts for the box will
be collected tomorrow, Saturday, ac
cording to the rejMtrt of the service
committee, of which Beth Johns is
chairman.
The food and needlework sale will
be hekl by the league in Ketel's drug
store, Saturday, Iec. Ii2, and will be
