The number of earn js twice as

unusual, because iliu Thanksgiving

fur L'hristiiiiis.
However, this has been a late year,
buyei'B report. Even with the large
numbers Ijoiigut and shipped tor
Thanksgiving and Chri stums, there
are many turkeys left because produc
tion was unusually heavy this year.
The prices for this Christmas are
five to six cents cheaper than last
year when buying prices were around
I5 to iiti cents. Prices this year re
main at 'AO cents for number ones,
the price having been maintained at
almost the Name figure for the entire

ber ones have been quoted at U
cents. Tho territory represented in the 20
cars sent out by .Swill and company
is from Ilalscy to Kiddle.
The quality for the Christmas mar
