sea storm having prevailed for a
number of days, driving well into the
bay. The storm has been so severe
that boats are narnor bound, and a
number of buildings have been ser
iously damaged. It is understood that
the storm has been very general uo
and down the California and Oregon
coast.
Ievi Goer, who for many years was
familiar figure on the streets of this
city, and who owna a fine farm on
Coast Fork, a portion of which is now
incorporated into the London Mineral
springs holdings, has been in the city
for a fow days, looking after his Lane
county interests. Some four years ago
Mr. Gecr removed to ttte state of
Washington, where he took over a
large stock ranch rit Gate, which is
twenty miles, from Oiympio and some
sixteen miles from Centrnlia, and at
present he resides there. He wilt be
here until the last of this week when
he expects to return to his Washing
ton home.
