the lumber industry has taken a de
cided upward trend.
Figures for last week compiled by
the National Lumber, Manufacturers
uijjociation, show ' new business
amounting to a 12 per cent increase
over the week preceding and 35 per
cent over the corresponding week of
1024.
New business has been proportion
ately larger than Inst year for several
weeks and the cumulative total since
the first of the year now exceeds
that for the same period of last year
by a full- week's production.
