wave 6f unkown origin swept in
shore from Lake Ontario today,
damaging several cottages and
hoathousea near the bench and ad
ding between 15 and 20 feet of
new soil lo a sand bar at Cres
cent Bench.

said, any possibility that the wave
was swept In by henvy winds.
The force of the wave here was
shown In the moving of a large
cottage near the shore and exten
