IVSURE WITH HENRY TROMV
No special council meeting will be
held tonight because of the lack of
immediately pending business to jus
tify it, announced Mayor E. R. Parks
this morning. Tonight's meeting, ah
originally planned, was to have been
a special session, to take up the mat
ter of sale of improvement bonds,
final reading on the proposed muni
cipal planning committee, and other
minor affairs.
Proposed paving of Madison street
from Cheshire to Fifth avenue will
await the meeting of May '2"t, an
nounces Mayor Parks, as the ciey or
dinance requires that the notice of
final hearing on this work be posted
10 days before the action is taken.
As the council voted last Monday on
this work, tonight's meeting of the
cot ficil could not have considered
the matter, hence, the mayor decided,
the meeting would he postponed until
next Monday, the final regular ses
sion of the month.
