Coupe Found With
Cullen is Stolen
After investigation by the I-anc
county sheriff's office it has been
determined that the Ford coupe in
possession of Earl Cullen when he
was arrested recently at hpnngtieiu
on a forgery charge was stolen here
February IV from in front of the
Osburn hotel. Ciilleu, a former tem
porary patrolman on the KuRenc po
lice force, is now at Dallas, Oregon,
awaiting trial on the check charge.
Cullen claimed to have purchased the
car but it was found that the car had
been licensed again by Cullen nnd that
it belonged to C. M. Hawes of Tort-land.
