for the afternoon, everything being in

peare. Mra. 8. 0. Allen, prehident of the
club gave a few word of welcome to

talk for the occasion.
Mrs. Nelson F. Macduff gave A very
delightful mid interesting version of
the mu!c which a bound i in Shakes
peare's poetry.
Mrs. Prudence E, CInrk gave two
groups of Shakespeare sours, and waa
accompanied by .Visa Celeste Camp
bell. For the first group Mrs. Clark
snug, "Hlow, Wow, Thou Winter
Wind," the music for which was com
pound by Arne. The second number

A particularly pleasing part of the
program was the readiuge given by
Mra. Catherine Cogswell Thorne,
who gave Hamlet instructions to
