Ex-Officer Arrested
Robert Russell of Monroe, who de
clared he was formerly a police officer
on the force at Portland, was arrested
last night for drunkenness, end ap
peared in municipal court this morn
ing to answer the complaint. "You've
been an officer of the lew then," said
Judge Gilmore, "so your tine will ht
$25." The prisoner paid his fine. His
automobile, which had been held by
the officers; was given back to him.
Prisoner Gets Four Mouths

Work on the improvement of

Robert Fischer, Jr., of the

ment, and Miss Hazel Hilburn of Ta
coma were married yesterday in Ta
