Dr. Ed wards' Olive Tablets the sub

laxative, and their effect on the liver is

The pleasant little tablets do the good
that calomel does, but have no bad after
effects. They don't injure the teeth like
strong liquids or calomel. They take
hold of the trouble and quickly correct
It. Why cure the liver at the expense ol
the teeth? Calomel sometimes play:
havoc with the gums. So do strong
liquids. It is best not to take calomel.
Let Dr. Edwards' Olive Tablets take

Carbon in the human body is a necessity.
Carbon is an organic, non-motnlio element. It is found in tho
hardest and the softest elements known.
The average person of 160 pounds has more than 45 pounds of
carbon in his body.
Carbon enters into tho growth and development of muscles and
softer tissues.
"When not properly oxidized and compounded with Potassium,
Calcium, Iron and Sodium, it produces fat in large quantities.
An excessive amount of Carbon causes one to feel sluggish,
lacking in ambition, no desire for exercise either mental or physical.
There are certain pooplo who are CARBON types, and as this
typo craves Carbon more than anything elso in food form it is easy
to sec why potatoes, white bread, etc., have such an appeal,
Growing children require a certain amount of Carbon because
it enters into tho building of tissue.
Tho Carboferic or Carbon type people should eat sparingly of
tho following foods:
"Potatoes, Sugar, Candy, Honey, Syrup, Cake, Pastries of all
kinds, Cookies, Crackers, Doughnuts, "Wafers, Puffs, Gems,
Pancakes, Puddings, etc.
Look for the next edition on Potassium.
