Opponents Reply.
Counsel for the appellees on the
other hand, based their arguments on
the contention that the new scnool
law violated the neutral rights of lib
erty and property secured by the con
stitution; that It amounted to a de
nial of the rights of those following
the useful occupation of conducting
a school, violated parental control
over children and exceeded the police
power of the atnte.
Thcro was a contrncurfll right of
those chartered by the state to con
duct private schools, they further beld
which the state could not take away.
The real purpose of the law was de
scribed by the attorneys for the pri
vate schools as one to completely de
stroy private primary school iu the
state. Insisting that bIiouUI this be
permitted, secondary schools, colleges
und universities could nlmi be brought
under state control, counsel for th,e
school contended this would mean tint
only those subjects could be taught
and these theories and doctrines ex
pounded which the state approved.
Tho Seventh lay Adventtsts and
Domestic and Foreign Missionary
society of the Protestant Kpiacopal
church, as friends of the court, filed

Guard Against "Flu"
With Musterole
Influenza, Grippe and Pneumonia
usually start with a cold. The moment
ou get those warning aches, get busy
with good old Musterole.
Musterole is a counter-irritant that
relieves congestion (which is what a
cold really is) and stimulates circulation.
It has all the good qualities of the
old-fashioned mustard plaster without
the bliBter.
Just rub it on with your finger-tips.
First you will feel a warm tingle as the
healing ointment penetrates the pores,
then a soothing, cooling sensation and
quick relief.
