If the Eugene tank clearings for
the remainder of March equal those
recorded for the first two weeks this
will be a record month for the'clear

For the fi-st week of the mouth the

the past two weeks were $107,000 on

Mrs. Allen Leaves
Mrs. F. E. Allen left Eugene today
for Sau Francisco, where she is book
ed for passage on the 3. S. Shiro
Maru to Ilongkonk, China, March 17.
Mrs, Allen is the wife of F. E. Allen,
superintendent of the navy yards at
Ilongkonk for the United Kingdom,
and has been visiting friends and rela
tives in Eugene and Kosebnrg fov
several months.
