"A Poor Married Man" is the-ub-ject
of a lively farce-comedy to be
given by the Four Oaks Cirange at
the grange hall March 31, it is an

complications of a couple of newly
weds, a pretty college reporter and
a poor married man. Characters are

Dr. Smail Resigns
Dr. Lloyd L. Smail, assistant pro
fessor of mathematics at the uni
versity, and author of mathematical
works, will resign April 1 to become
a traveling representative among uni
versities and colleges for a Philadel
phia publishing concern. Dr. Smail
came to Oregon two years ago from
the University of Washington, and has
made a brilliant record in his field.
