Two Points Enough
For Field Goal
(By NEA Service)
CHICAGO, Feb. 25. While Coach
Knute Rockne of Notre Dame doesn't
favor much tinkering with the foot
ball rules, be has one pet aversion
is the present playing code.
Kockne feels that three pointa Is
far too generous scoring for a goal
from the field. He believes two is the
iiappy medium.
In other words Hockne feels that
a touchdown is worth three field
eoals. Hetter yet, if a team scores
its goal afer a touchdown, it will take
four field goals to beat that team.
H is possible for a good kicker to
score without much trouble from aa
far away as the SS-yard line. That
makes it possible for a kicking spec
ialist to beat a well-rounded superior
team. '
