Cougars Slain
Pelts of a mother cougar and tbrec
young ones were brought to Eugene
yesterday by Ed Clark of Oakridge.
Mr. Clark killed the animals February
12 on Warner mountain. 18 miles
bnck of Oakridge. He said the dog
chased tho kittens up a tree and they
were killed without much trouble, but
that the mother cat was chased for
several miles before the dogs treed

cougars as well as two bobcats.
