being trained for the Lebanon trials

hue. Harold Hill, Clark lay, It. It.
Krundage and W. It. Wallace. Those
who are enrolled for the futurity are
Dr. Ilonahue, Mr. Wallace and Mr.
Hill. Mr. Hill is entered for two dogs.
"At the puppy stakes in Lebanon
an amateur day will be scheduled,"
says Mr. Wallace. "At this time the
owners will run their own dogs, and
no puppies will be allowed iu chnrge
of a professional handler."
Isaac Newman is now training a
group of dogs, and Walter Mel lor
nack is planning to open his new ken
nels at the aviation field in the next
few days. Mr. McOornack will also
truin a bunch of dogs for local fan
ciers. '

The bankers associations will also
aid in the marketing course end a j

held on essay writing by the boys and i

Work Under Way on
New Coburg Bridge
Work has been started ou the new
bridge on the Coburg road north. of
the Ferry street bridge at the poiut
where Cnarles Adler, Seattle sales
man, met his death about six weeks
ago when ha stepped from his stalled
car into the deep waters of the
slough.
The new bridge will have a span of
'JO feet nnd a width of 21 feet. It is
expected that the road will be opened
to traffic by Thursday, accord. ng to
Clinton Hurd, county commissioner.
The detour road now in use while the
spun work is in progress is reported
to be in good condition.
