Linn counties are to be consolidated,
according to an agreement drawn up
by the owners. The name '"Bowena"
will be adopted as the name fur' both.
The agreement was signed by
George U. Cox and wife, Edith Cox,
both of Springfield, N. J. Kelson,-' sr., J
and wife, Laura -Kelson, both of Cot-"
tage Urove; Elmer Cook and wife, j
Carrie Cook; and Lawrence May and
wife, Inez May,' both of Springfield,
as owners of the Rowena group, and
by C. H. Gruning Sr.,; wife, Rowena
Gruning, and son, Fred M. Griming,
as parties of the second part, owners
of the Rialto group.
The miucs are described as con
taining gold and silver. Plans for de
