carver to build an onk model of the
Houses of Parliament. This will be
constructed on a half-inch scale, 40
feet long, 31 feet wide and 13 feet
high.
The carver estimates it will take
five years to complete the model,
which will occupy 21 men daily, two
of these being expert carvers. The
coal will approxamito $225,000. The
foundation of the atructure will be of
leak, but the rest, of Ihe model will
be of osk, and nil of the carving true
lo detail. After exhibition in lindon
it is planned to take the model around
the country, nil proceeds going to
hospital funds.
