IMlILAlJKU'HIA, Nov. 21. The
production of tiie perfect nian by
regulation of ghtnus Is predicted by
Dr. J. IEodney Kirke, of New York.
Speaking yesterday nt the conven
tiuti of t be eastern llomopalhic Medi

discoveries com-eming tbe function of
glands of the hiimnu body hod paved
tiie way for production of the perf?ct

Dr. William H. Piffenbueh, nn x-ry
pecialist, also of New York, said that
proper control f the function of
xJaud n "fountain if youth" would be
discovered, as fuiltiru of tJio rIhixIk to
function was the can e of old ace.
"By properly regulating in in'
gluudi," said Dr. Fike, 'we will tint
only be able to control hid mcnuil
characteristics, but also hifi physicial
appearance; it will be within our
power to say whether bo Hhull be toll
or short, fat of thin; whether his
voice shall be tenor or ,h,iKs.
"By increasing the action of lug
liitb glaud and plowing down tbe
over-active glands, remarkable results
have been accomplished and we are on
the verge of even greater achieve
ments which will make possible the
production of the perfect nmn."
Dr. Diffenhnch expressed tho opin-

was far superior to implantatiou of

SCHENI'X'TAnY, N. Y., Nov. t-'l.
Tbe roaring of the atoms in 'r$ n as
they are attracted by the. magnet can
be heard by meiina of a device re

magnetism i not a silent phenome
non; in fact the roaring when the
magnet is brought near a piece of
iron, plainly can be heard from an or

to "experimenters and consequently it
hqw will be ponnible to listen to the
