Goshen Woman Dies
Mrs. Edith E. Fidler of Goshen
died in Portland Monday. She wus
formerly a resident of Eugene, and
for a long time conducted a booth in
the public market, bbe is survived by
her husband, O. W. Fidler, farmer of
Goshen, and several sons. Funeral
services will be held Wednesday
morning at 10:30 o'clock at the
Veatch chapel. Interment will he iu
the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
Baby Girl Dies
Annie Marguerite Finseth, four
months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Albert C. Finseth of Deadwood, naEe
county, died Monday evening at 6
o'clock of pneumonia. Remains are at
the Branstetter chapel, and burial will
take place at the Deadwood cemetery
Wednesday -afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Rev. William J. Large will have
charge of the services.

Federal Appraiser Is Here
R. Sanford, federal appraiser of the
farrh loan association, is in Lane
county today and in company of W.
A. Ayers, secretary of the farm loan
board here, is inspecting several
farms, the owners of which have ap
plied for the federal loans. Mr. San
ford is from the Spokane headquart
ers of the association.

Two Hunters Lost
On Callahan Trail

lieved to ba lost there. A camp,
stocked with provisions and personal
articles of the huntera waa found last
week and the men have not been thers
since Friday morning, leading to tha
belief that they have wandered awsy,

easy to becomo confused. Tha name
of C. W. Stephens and Richard Tal
mer, were found on papers in tha
coata, which were left In camp, but no
addresaea were obtainable
