"There are six or seven old fellows who have made our pile and who want to co in ou the lodge." Mr. Garland wrote to Mr. Ide. He asked about the possibilities for such a place in Orcuon. "California ia all fished out." he said. Mr. Ide's response was prompt, and the MrKenzie was his choice for his recommendution. He boosted Eugene and the whole McKenzie district as well as the fish ing and hunting in the mountains, ac cording to the copy of his letter 're ceived at the local chamber of com merce today. Mr. Garland plans to spend about six months of the year with his fellow sportsmen at the lodge when it is es tablished, according to bis letter to' Mr. Me. - "Others who want similar lodges will probibly follow," he added.
