San Francisco reports 132,500 cases com pared to 178.500 a year ago. Increasing arrival of grapes are causing slight decline in prices. Prices are down to fl.Ml and $1.(10 per lug on Thompson Beedless. Peaches are easier. Oregdn stock is bringing 75 cents to 00 cents a box. TomatoeB ere more plentiful and 'he market a trifle easier. The IWilles stock Is down to $1.75 and .$2.25 a box. The cantnloupe market is firm at $3 on haul ripe stock. Fine quality fruit is scarce. The potato market continues quiet at $2 to $2.25 on good local stock. Onions are about the same with Walla Walla globes selling at $2.75 per hundred. Butter, Poultry Steady The butter market contiuues steady at the recent decline. Some of the creamerymen are not following the decline in fat prices but are Bt ill pay ing premiums for cream supplies. The poultry market is about steady with moderate receipts sufficient for all requirements. Wool trading in the Facific north west during the last few days hus been niodernte owing to the bulk of the clip now being in the bands of the distributors. Trices are steady with good medium wool bringing around 33 cents and medium 30 cents a pound. Less than 500.000 pounds of wool are estimstcd left in the hands of the growers. PORTLAND, Aug. 2. Approxi mately 118.800 eggs changed hands on the floor of the local exchange dur ing a spirited fight between bulls and tho bears for control of the market at the formal opening of the Portlnnd Dairy Exchar e in their new home.
