method of accomplishing the reclama

proposed to make a short cut In two

said stream to make a shorter course

trict Attorney Stanley Myers bas
ordered sains of wins stopped to
people of Jewish congregations,
except that actually needed for
sacramental purposes In ' the
churches.
The decision followed a con
ference called by the district at
torney which was attended by the
presidents of various Jewish con
gregations and a number of rab
bis.
Unscrupulous men have flouted
the law and sold quantities of
wtne Intended for sacramental pur
poses, Myers announced In mak
ing his decision. The Volstead
law allows each member of the
congregation two gallons of wine
a month ha pointed out By en
forcing the state, which allows
only such wine "as needed for
sacramental purposes," the alleged
"lead" In the prohibition law can
be stopped, Myers believes.
Rabbit will assemble next week
to determine what Is a reasonable
amount of wine for sacraments
